what makes lilliana stand out?
Latina Hermione
When I was growing up, I had two sides to my personality. On the one hand, I was incredibly shy and found it hard to speak up in class. But on the other hand, my mind was always buzzing with ideas and energy. I loved to read and explore new worlds, like the wizarding universe of Harry Potter. Unfortunately, despite my advanced reading skills, I ended up in the lowest reading group with picture books. It took the wrath of my mother to get me into the correct reading level group. Since then, I have worked hard to gain the confidence to share my curiosity with the world. I vowed to never let my curiosity go unheard or my ideas go unshared.
That's why I'm passionate about being a voice for women of color - especially those who, like me, identify as Latinx/a and deal with ADHD. We all have to navigate a world that isn't built for us, and that takes resilience, creativity, and a whole lot of adaptation. But I'm not content with just making do - I want to help change the structures and systems so they can adapt to us.
When it comes to my career aspirations, want to apply this passion to what I foster in the workplace. Promoting diversity and inclusion, and closing the opportunity divide for Latinx individuals in the business industry is not only a moral imperative, but a smart business strategy that drives success, fosters innovation, and taps into a valuable pool of resources for sustained growth.
Dinner Host
My childhood was a never-ending series of dinner parties, cookouts, brunches, and every other kind of gathering you can imagine. Our house was always filled with laughter, chatter, and the tantalizing aroma of delicious food. It was like living in a perpetual party - and I loved every minute of it.
Now, I've turned my love of hosting into a calling. I adore bringing people together, introducing them to each other, and creating unforgettable experiences. There's something magical about watching strangers become friends and discovering new stories and perspectives. Whether it's a cozy night in or an epic extravaganza, I'm always ready to whip up something special and create memories that will last a lifetime.
But it's not just about having a good time. I truly believe that building relationships is the key to success in any industry. When people feel comfortable and connected, they're more likely to trust you, work with you, and recommend you to others.
That's why I think my hosting skills are such a valuable asset in a professional setting. By bringing people together and creating opportunities for conversation and connection, I'm not only building stronger relationships but also setting the stage for better business outcomes.

Data is everywhere, and in today's world, it's becoming increasingly important to understand it. That's where I come in - I have a passion for digging into data, whether it's qualitative or quantitative, and finding the story hidden within.
At its core, data is just a collection of information. But when you start to analyze it, patterns emerge, and those patterns can tell a powerful story. I believe that data storytelling is an art form, and I am utterly obsessed with honing my craft. Whether I'm working with a small dataset or a massive one, I enjoy the process of sifting through the noise to find the signal. It can be a messy, time-consuming process, but to me, that's part of the fun. There's a thrill in discovering something unexpected, in seeing the pieces of the puzzle come together to form a clear picture. I don't just stop at finding the story - I also love to bring that story to life in a creative and engaging way. I believe that storytelling and visual design can truly elevate the impact of data and insights, and make them more accessible to a wider audience.
So why do I love data storytelling so much? For one, it's incredibly satisfying to take a bunch of raw numbers and turn them into a compelling narrative. But beyond that, I believe that data can be a powerful tool for making better decisions. When you have a clear understanding of the data, you can make informed choices that can drive real change. In my view, the best data stories are the ones that connect with the audience on an emotional level. They're the stories that make people sit up and take notice, that inspire them to take action. And that's what I strive for in every project I take on - to derive the best darn story any audience could imagine.
